[jellythemes_content class=”text”]The Entrepreneur Lab is a business incubator program funded by a Pacific Gas & Electric Economic Vitality Grant and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Our partners: San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, SBDC, City of Stockton and Huddle are proud to offer this business incubator to the Stockton startup community.

 

The Entrepreneur Lab was created to take early stage startup businesses into their next level of growth! We’ll give you the space, resources, network, and tools needed to succeed.

 

We’re looking for businesses in the Stockton region with innovative ideas and high-growth potential including, but not limited to, technology startups, agritech companies, digital marketing companies, web/graphic design, copy/technical writers, and social entrepreneurs!

 

Applications accepted May 14th – September 15th, 2015. Program begins October 1st, 2015.

 

Six early-stage startups will be selected to receive the following benefits for a one year term.

[jellythemes_content class=”text”]5 startups will receive coworking memberships to Huddle, the Stockton region’s coworking & startup hub. 1 startup will receive a dedicated private office. As a member of Huddle, you’ll receive valuable business amenities such as lightning fast wifi, business class printing, conference room usage, front desk attendant, mailing address, onsite parking and unlimited coffee. More importantly, you’ll be surrounded by Stockton’s best entrepreneurial talent which you can leverage for your venture.[/jellythemes_content]
[jellythemes_title]Capital[/jellythemes_title]
[jellythemes_content class=”text”]Every good idea needs a little funding to get going. All Entrepreneur Lab members will have a chance to compete for a $5,000 prize through a pitch fest competition to be held at the end of the 12-month program. Members will also have the opportunity to pitch their ventures to local area VC’s, investors, and micro funders such as the Stockton Impact Corps.[/jellythemes_content]

[jellythemes_content class=”text”]As a part of the program, you’ll have access to numerous networking opportunities to boost your visibility and make connections with people who can help grow your business.  Among others, you’ll be able to tap into Huddle’s networking opportunities, with monthly business mixers and quarterly speaker series. You’ll also have the chance to host your own Huddle mixer to showcase your venture![/jellythemes_content]

[jellythemes_content class=”text”]Coming up with an idea is the easy part: now you have to learn how to grow a business. Being a part of the incubator gives you access to the resources you need to grow your venture. Every month, local professionals will host monthly workshops on topics like finance, legal, marketing, etc.  These events will be hosted by Huddle and the San Joaquin Hispanic Business Chamber.[/jellythemes_content]
